Introduction to the Michael Chekhov Technique

The objective of our level one training is to learn the tools of the Michael Chekov Technique and apply them to text for the first time. Classes will meet on Saturdays from 10:00am - 12:00pm. Your ONE-TIME enrollment gets you access to all four classes in this course. Students will need to memorize 3 lines to 60 seconds of a monologue, wear comfy clothes that you can move in, and bring close-toed shoes. This class is BYOW (Bring your own water). It is suggested that students read "ON THE TECHNIQUE OF ACTING" by Michael Chekhov with a forward by Mala Powers prior to coming to class.
